STEM Program

In an ever-changing, increasingly complex world, it's more important than ever that our nation's youth are prepared to bring knowledge and skills to solve problems, make sense of information, and know how to gather and evaluate evidence to make informed decisions. These crucial skills are precisely the ones that students cultivate through the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, collectively referred to as STEM.

The objective of our National Society of Black Engineers’ NSBE Jr. Program is to provide students in grades 9–12 with supplemental STEM curricula and exposure to STEM concepts and career opportunities. Our program also allows our students the opportunity to be mentored and/or tutored by college students or Technical Professionals currently working in a STEM field.
